Hey there, happy late Sunday and almost Monday! What were you up to this weekend? I caught up on a week's worth of the WSJ, pretended it wasn't hot out (and nearly gave myself heat stroke in the process) and saw Friends With Kids. It was a great film and if you're thinking about seeing a movie in the next week or so, I highly recommend it.

Here are this week's favorite links, enjoy!

House hunting in Manhattan? This gorgeous home in Tribeca can be yours for a cool $45 million. For this hefty sum, one does get a basketball court, spacious walk-in closets and 30,000 sq. ft. {I'd take it for the incredible library alone…and the bathrooms, they're quite chic!}.

The above shot is from The Sartorialist and was taken four years ago. Scott reposted it this week and mused about fashion in the digital age.

I find it interesting that during the past 10 years, it's become harder to place style. One can look at an outfit from 40 or 50 years ago and automatically know the decade. Now trends and inspirations are blending together and this woman's outfit looks like it could have been worn last week. {And not to come across as some manic fashion obsessor but, her heels are Marni and in real life the lucite trim is to-die-for!}

Art Info posted The 10 People Who Make Art Fairs Fun. These collectors are eccentric to say the least but it's an great read if you're fascinated by the art world. My favorites are Richard Harris (pictured above) who has amassed 1,500 works of art all centering around death (Rembrandt & Durer included) and Andrew J. Hall whose collection is worth an estimated $100 million. What's even cooler? He displays his collection in his 1,000 year old castle in Germany.

And a few more…

- The 15 Biggest Stories From Fashion Month. The perfect roundup from Fashionista to keep you in the know.

- A new study suggests that ambition does not affect happiness, and in most cases can have a negative effect impact on longevity. No matter your thoughts on this, the article is interesting and the comments worth a read.

- The 12 Most-Requested Celeb Hairstyles (by state) tells a lot about the personality of different parts of the country. My favorites are Nicole Richie's sleek bob for NYC and Zooey Deschanel's blunt bangs for Seattle.

Enjoy the last few hours of your weekend! I'm thinking about sneaking in a workout :)

Until next time,

x
