Actress Zooey Deschanel has thrown her support behind the campaign to end the scandal of child soldiers in Uganda.
Officials at campaign group Invisible Children are calling for an international task force to track down and capture guerilla leader Joseph Kony, who is accused of abducting thousands of kids in the African republic to serve with his Lord's Resistance Army.
Stars including Rihanna, Justin Bieber, Oprah Winfrey and Taylor Swift have already come out in support of the Kony 2012 campaign – and now New Girl star Deschanel is urging her fans to donate to Invisible Children.
Taking to her Twitter.com page, she posts a link to the organisation's website alongside the message, "Donate to this fundraiser and every $ you donate will be matched up to 50k!"
