World's Most Beautiful Woman : Hm. Really? Geesh. I know some pretty amazing women and I don't see any of them on the list. They also wear flats and cut their own hair. Maybe there's been a mix up? More about this naff honour here. Who is your Lady Fave?! What makes someone beautiful, do you think?
Designer Kids : Do we really want our kidlets dressed in Prada or Marc Jacobs? Are they destined to become the (entitled) casualties of (a handful of) brand-driven, consumerist parents?! The NY Times investigates. I vote NO! I don't think we need to set kids up to have appetites for luxury goods and looking fancy. Forget it. Let them play in the mud in badly co-ordinated get-ups, I say!
