With only five episodes to go until the Season 1 finale of New Girl, we're more desperate than ever for any scoop related to the hit FOX comedy.Lamorne Morris, who gets laughs week after week as level-headed Winston (always the voice of reason, that one!), opened up to Wetpaint Entertainment at the New Now Next Awards on Thursday, April 5, teasing everything from a major move to hot-'n'-heavy developments in his relationship with Shelby (Kali Hawk).
Wetpaint Entertainment: New Girl's star just keeps rising. It seems like a very fun cast to be a part of; what is it like behind the scenes?
Lamorne Morris: It's an extremely fun cast; we are all actually like roommates because we spend that much time with each other. We all goof off all the time, like when we're not shooting we're doing bits with each other — you know different characters and impersonating each other. Some takes I will be Jake Johnson [Nick] in the take, you know. I'm really bad at Jake Johnson, but I try it a lot, probably too often. But yeah, we have a lot of fun behind the scenes.
What is coming up next on New Girl?
Well, let's see, the finale is coming soon. We have five more episodes until the finale. One of our roommates is moving out, so it will be a very heart-wrenching season finale.
Maybe Schmidt [Max Greenfield] is moving in with Cece [Hannah Simone]?
Maybe, maybe I don't know. Maybe Jess [Zooey Deschanel] is moving out? I don't know, I can't tell you!
