Matching our prediction, Sofia Vergara yelled a lot on SNL during her hosting duties.
Luckily, it was all in character.
Sofia Vergara took her turn at SNL host by playing to her strengths: sexuality, mangled English comedy, and yelling.

She stood out as Fran Drescher* in the "Being Quirky with Zooey Deschanel" skit, where she got to be loud and bore a decent resemblance to the former Nanny star. (She has a new show…Happily Divorced, or something…) Although Kristen Wiig stole the scene as Drew Barrymore, and Abby Elliot's blue eyed ZD is always eerily on point.
Vergara was also pretty enjoyable in the News Team Promo and The Hunger Games spoof which brought into the world The Hunger Games: Puppy Bowl.
*We bet there was a huge surge of people googling Fran Drescher after this skit aired. People miss The Nanny. Why isn't Netflix streaming it yet?
