Hollywood got political last night at the 2012 White House Correspondents' Dinner in Washington, DC. Amongst those who had the pleasure of listening to Barack poke fun at HuffPo and Jimmy Kimmel aim jabs at Occupy Wall Street in person were a motley crew of actors, journalists, models, and celebrities of questionable vocation including Lindsay Lohan, Rachel Zoe, Reese Witherspoon, and Elle Macpherson.
Our votes for best dressed for the evening go to Dakota Fanning in glitzy gray-blue embellished Prada, Elizabeth Banks in strapless tomato red Antonio Berardi, and Claire Danes in sleek white Vivienne Westwood. Oh, and Michelle O in Naeem Khan. But doesn't that practically go without saying by now? Michelle's our girl.
Tragically, Hillary Clinton and her scrunchies were not in attendance. Too busy drunk texting Obama from Cartagena, from the sounds of things.
And on the other end of the spectrum? Kate Upton ditched the Old Hollywood vibe in favor of a sloppy-looking wrap frock by Alexander McQueen, Kim Kardashian appeared to have repurposed the fabric from her sixth grade figure skating dress, and Alicia Keys went casual (too casual, if you ask us) in a mustard keyhole number and black hose.
