For that past two weeks I have been using L'Oréal's new EverStrong shampoo, conditioner and mask. The EverStrong range is designed 'for fragile and brittle hair', which pretty much summed up my locks - I almost typed 'tresses' but that implies a head of glorious, long bouncy hair which mine definitely wasn't...
I washed my hair every other day using both the shampoo and conditioner, substituting the conditioner once a week for the Nourishing Intense Mask.
All three products 'combine non-sulphate cleansing and conditioning care' and both are 'enriched with botanical rosemary and juniper oils'.
Before trying L'Oréal's EverStrong range my hair was limp and had no volume, the ends looked, and felt, frizzy and dry. I was using ridiculous amounts of hair serum to soften my brittle ends. My ponytail was simply pathetic.
The result?
Now my hair feels stronger, smoother and has more volume. It's shinier and softer (must be those non-sulphate cleansing and conditioning thing-me-bobs) and whilst I'll never have the locks of Zooey Deschanel (my all time no.1 hair crush) I can say that I'm friends with my hair again. I'm really, really pleased with the results.
The good
Apart from my nice new hair, the shampoo had a rich, soft lather and the conditioner and mask rinsed out easily but my favourite part is the smell of the conditioner - juniper and mint - very refreshing.
The bad
The shampoo and conditioner come in soft malleable tubes, which can be tricky with wet hands, especially when you are half asleep, as I am when in the shower of a morning!
Would I recommend this to my friends? Abso-flippin'-lutely!
