The first time I paid any attention to Michelle Williams was in the 2005 film "The Baxter," about a 'nice guy' whose girlfriends leave him only to find true love with their next boyfriend.  It's an enjoyable movie, and I encourage you to watch it if you haven't seen it.

After that, she received heavy media attention when her ex-boyfriend and father of her child, Heath Ledger, died from an accidental overdose in 2008.

I thought about Ms. Williams the same way I thought about Zooey Deschanel when she caught my attention--I want to hang out and go shopping with her.  She seems to possess the kind of graceful, collected, individualistic attitude that embodies 'cool,' with a killer wardrobe to boot.

After "The Baxter," I started noticing her in other things--"Brokeback Mountain," "Synecdoche, New York," and "Shutter Island" to name a few.  She's been nominated for and won multiple awards for her role in "Wendy and Lucy," "Meek's Cutoff," "Blue Valentine," and "My Week With Marilyn."

She also happens to be half of one of the cutest couples in Hollywood (her bf is Jason Segel).  And did I mention that she has awesome style?

She tends to stick with retro styles--long column gowns, 60s shift dresses and fit and flare dresses with a fitted bodice and free skirt.  Most of her dresses accentuate her tiny waist and petite frame.
