I love headphones.
But my boo was like, "You should donate the clothes that you haven't worn for over a year."But what about headphones? Huh?
Do I just give these away or do I keep them?
I mean I've had relationships end because of how much I loved a pair of headphones. (Story : One of my ex's cats threw up on a pair of headphones. That in itself wouldn't be enough to stop me from using them, but the headphones were USB and the vomit dissolved the connector.)
So with that in mind. I will look back on some of my favorite, down ass bitch headphones. I'll be giving them away, I guess :(
Audio-Technica ATH-A700's.
I'll never forget listening to that Inception trailer in 5.1 surround sound and then making everyone I was around listen to it too. The thing about headphones though, is that they aren't communal.
Sennheiser HD595's
Those Germans, man. Cars, headphones, gas chambers...they really make you fall in love with that design. I bought these used though and I paid for it.
Beats by Dre - Earbuds
I bought these things because I wanted to see how powerful the author of The Chronic could make earbuds. Turns out that I have Legolas ears and these earbuds won't stay in my ears for more than five minutes.
Grado SR-80's
I have a serious soft spot for these headphones. These are the kind of headphones that you're wearing in an elevator while listening to The Smith's and then Zooey Deschanel tells you she loves The Smith's. These were hip before hipsters took them over and I love them. It kinda sucks that both ears take a cord but they are light and powerful.
Klipsch S4's
Yeah right. Like I would ever get rid of these beasts.
Audio-Technica M50's
The best pair of headphones I've ever owned. I go running everyday with these on and they're loud enough to force everyone in the park to listen to the same music as me.
