A new Forbes list has named Sofia Vergara as US televisions highest paid actress between May 2011 and May 2012.
The Modern Family star is said to have made around $19 million last year. $7 million of that was from the show, whilst endorsements with Diet Pepsi and a clothing range at Kmart pulled in the other $12 million.

Vergara ranked just ahead of reality star Kim Kardashian, who was listed in second place with earnings of $18 million. Kim's own clothing range and perfume deal was a huge money maker. Her sister, Khloe is not far behind, being on 5th place in the list after earning $11 million. Kourtney however, did not make the top 10.

Eva Longoria ranked in third place, with earnings of $15 million made from starring in Desperate Housewives as well as endorsement deals with Pepsi and L'Oreal.
