Unfortunately not all television comedies are created equal. Just take a look at last season's choices. There were a lot of crappy comedies that kept us reaching for the remote.
There were a few new shining stars making it on the tube. Some of our veteran favorites did their usual great stuff while others drowned in their own pool of bad writing. That said, here are our top five comedy favorites. Normally we'd like to go with a top 10, but this time there weren't that many good comedies out there.
1) THE BIG BANG THEORY - Nobody does cerebral comedy better then our very own Sheldon, Leonard, Penny, Raj, and Howard.
2) TWO BROKE GIRLS - Overnight Kat Dennings and Beth Behrs became everyone's favorite zany waitresses.
3) NEW GIRL - Zooey Deschanel is the ultimate dream roommate for geeks everywhere.
4) SUBURGATORY - Who ever thought that every day life in the burbs would come with such barbed humor?
5) DON'T TRUST THE BITCH IN APARTMENT 23 - The formula is old but the chemistry of a shameless city bred con artist/party girl and a sweet kid from backwoods Indiana works.
