Bieber’s five nominations include Favorite Male Artist, Pop Artist, Music Video for ‘Boyfriend’ and Album for ‘Believe.’ Levine received four nods with Maroon 5 and an additional mention for his work on ‘The Voice.’ He’s up for Best Celebrity Judge along with his ‘Voice’ colleague Christina Aguilera, Jennifer Lopez of ‘American Idol,’ and Britney Spears and Demi Lovato from ‘X Factor.’
One Direction show up in four categories, including Favorite Album for ‘Up All Night,’ where they compete against Bieber, Maroon 5, Carrie Underwood and fun. There’s even a category for Favorite Music Fan Following that pits Beliebers against Directioners and Lovatics. One question: How did Rihanna‘s Navy get overlooked for that one?
In the television categories, ‘Glee‘ racked up a number of mentions as usual, including individual nominations for Chris Colfer, Lea Michele and Jane Lynch.
