What did I learn about the issue?

I learned that all of these students have the same attitude about the SAT. They are nervous, pressured, and so tense that they have trouble sleeping. As a student who had to take the SAT three times, I can greatly relate to Serena H Lee. It’s frustrating and you spend so much time studying different techniques, lessons, and skills. The kids get disappointed in themselves because they didn’t receive a good enough score, or their score barely improved. They also have the same mentality that the test has such a great impact at that time which affects their future, but the test itself means nothing afterwards.

How do people talk about it?

The majority are negative tweets. The kids can’t sleep and they stay up studying for hours upon hours- not sure if their scores are even going to improve. They aren’t confident in their performance. The tests are long, tiring, and boring. Once the scores come in, the students can’t do anything besides retake it again and again until they receive a good enough score (if they have the motivation to prepare/take it again.)
