Who Am I seems apt because Snoop is not the same guy who launched onto the scene with this track. Of all the things that made him great it was mainly his phrasing. Not so much his word choices, and that was inventive, but musical phrasing the way he bunches lyrics together and parses them out. Let’s just say he had a way with punctuation. These days it’s his way with pink suits and backing up pop starlets.
