Golden Globes 2013 fashion: Stars heat up red carpet ...

The Golden Globes boasted some red-hot arrivals to kick off the Hollywood awards season even as the fashion chatter among top movie and TV stars was largely about an unusually chilly night. Heat lamps warmed up the 50 degree-red carpet, a chilly night for Los Angeles.

Jennifer Lawrence

In our eyes, Jennifer Lawrencecan do no wrong, but her red Dior Haute Couture dress was more than just alright! The bodice and silver belt make it unique as the hilarious starlet herself, but still looks classically glamorous and red carpet-appropriate. Perfection!

Katharine McPhee

Our jaws dropped when Katharine waltzed onto the carpet in her Theysken’s Theory dress! Head-to-toe black looks amazing on the Smash star, and we love that chunky bracelet.

Julianne Hough

We’re obsessed with all the sparkle Julianne Hough’s been rocking for the 2013 award season so far! To keep her jewel encrusted Monique Lhuillier gown from feeling too princess-y, she paired it with an edgy, rocker hairstyle and major smoky eyes.

Amanda Seyfried

We have a certain weakness for lace gowns, and Amanda’s Givenchy dress is a total dream! The blush color brings out the pretty pink undertones in Amanda’s skin and makes her green eyes really pop.

Taylor Swift

It was another red carpet hit for Taylor at the Golden Globes! Lately she’s been trading in her usual short, sequin party dresses for glamorous, floor-length gowns—and we love the transformation! Plum is always a great choice for a green-eyed gal, and the mermaid silhouette on her Donna Karan number is super-flattering.

Anne Hathaway

First off, we’re so happy Anne’s decided to keep her adorable, short haircut well past Les Misérables filming. Second, her crystal-encrusted, Chanel gown is absolutely to die for!

Amy Adams

A nude-colored dress can easily make even the prettiest star look washed out on the carpet, but the hint of lavender in Amy’s Marchesa gown keeps it from feeling too flat! The delicate lace has a pretty, Old-Hollywood feel, while the mermaid fit adds a modern twist.

Lea Michele

We can’t decide what part of Lea Michele’s Elie Saab dress we love the most: the halter neckline, the lovely cream color, or the gorgeous beading! Regardless, we’re obsessed.

Zooey Deschanel

Zooey always looks like a classic Hollywood beauty on the carpet! Even though her Oscar de la Renta dress is relatively plain, it still feels perfectly suited for the occasion, especially paired with elegant pearl accessories. Don’t forget about her film-themed nails!
