Oh Gaga, only you would get over a hip operation in a gold plated wheelchair. Only you would be pictured lounging in your ‘chariot’ wearing full glamour puss make up, a wig and furs.
The latest on the craziest lady in pop is that since undergoing surgery on her hip last month, she commissioned Ken Borochov of luxury brand Mordekai to make her a luxurious leather and 25 carat gold wheelchair to aid her recovery.
The chair features a padded leather seat, padded leg rests, gold plated brakes and a removable leather canopy (for those sunny days). Looking like something from the palace circa 1890, Gaga has told her Twitter followers that the chair is named ‘Emma’.
The chairs designer, Ken Borochov says he was given a week to create the masterpiece and enjoyed the challenge. He claims it is ‘fit only for a queen’ which is handy as Lady Gaga is surely the Queen of pop right now?
Lady Gaga’s hip injury forced her to cancel all the remaining 25 dates of her U.S. tour and we know how much she hates letting fans down.
Get well soon Gaga, you may be mad as a box of frogs but we love you.
