While enjoying the continued success of her hit series "New Girl," Zooey Deschanel scored the cover spot on the April 2013 issue of InStyle magazine.
After posing for a few photos with Giampaolo Sgura in a darling Carolina Herrera dress, the 33-year-old actress revealed her greatest style tips.
"I didn’t have a lot of money, so I got things for, like $2, $3, and made myself look as good as I could. Limitations make you more creative," Zooey explained.
When describing her personal style, the "Elf" cutie said,"People are more affected by how I look and dress myself than I think anyone would care to admit. I guess I’ll just have to start wearing power suits."
In regards to getting a perfect outfit without emptying your wallet, Miss Deschanel declared, "Style isn’t when you buy yourself the most expensive things. It’s being creative and able to put together what you’ve collected."
