Hough was joined by famous friends Nina Dobrev, Maria Menounos, Lily Collins, and Selena Gomez. JANE LYNCH WALKS DOGS WITH EX-WIFE’S LOOK-A-LIKE: Rumors were swirling on Tuesday (July 23rd) that Glee star Jane Lynch was rekindling her romance with her ex-wife after the two were photographed walking their dogs together on Monday (July 22nd) but such is not the case according to TMZ. The website says the photo is actually a case a mistaken identity and that the woman in the picture is not Jane’s ex but a longtime friend named Laura Coyle who looks remarkably similar.
ROSEANNE BARR AND TOM ARNOLD FIGHT ON TWITTER: Former spouses Tom Arnold and Roseanne Barr had a war of words on Twitter on Sunday (July 21st) when Tom wrote, “Cleaned out garage and dropped boxes at Goodwill. Hope someone really needs 47 remote controls, 65 phone chargers and my old wedding videos.” Barr responded, “Of me? bc if they are, I would like that footage since it has my kids in it-it’s not really your choice2 destroy.” Arnold wrote back, “It’s still there. They are only charging $1 for it and the proceeds go to a good cause.” From there things escalated to Roseanne reminding Tom that he used to be a comedian and wanting to know what is wrong with him. The former couple eventually calmed down and Roseanne even complimented Tom on his newborn son and called him a “little doll.”
ANTHONY WEINER APOLOGIZES DURING PRESS CONFERENCE: Anthony Weiner, one-time member of the House of Representatives and current candidate for mayor of New York City, has been caught yet again. Weiner admitted yesterday (Tuesday, July 23rd) that his online “sexting” continued even after he resigned from Congress in 2011. In fact, he was apparently over-sharing with women on the Web as late as last November, months before announcing his candidacy in the mayor’s race, according to the web site that revealed the details.
HUGH JACKMAN BRINGING ONE-MAN SHOW TO L.A.: Wolverine star Hugh Jackman has announced plans to bring his one-man show “One Night Only” to L.A. to benefit the Motion Picture & Television Fund. The show will take place on Saturday, October 12th at the Dolby Theatre. Jackman released a statement saying, “Films, television and theater have brought me great success throughout my career, and it is one of my greatest pleasures to give back by putting on a show as a benefit to support MPTF.”
SYFY TO AIR MINISERIES BASED ON ‘WIZARD OF OZ’: Syfy network is teaming up with director Timur Bekmambetov for a miniseries project called Warriors of Oz which is being described as a re-imagining of the classic story of Dorothy and her friends set in a post-apocalyptic future Oz. The network previously attempted an Oz miniseries with Tin Man starring Zooey Deschanel back in 2007.
LIFETIME GREENLIGHTS ‘FLOWERS IN THE ATTIC’ REMAKE: Lifetime is moving forward with a TV movie based on the V.C. Andrews book Flowers in the Attic. Heather Graham and Ellen Burstyn will star in the gothic tale of four siblings subjected to cruel emotional and physical abuse at the hands of their mother and grandmother after their father dies.
ABC FAMILY CANCELS ‘BUNHEADS’: ABC Family has announced that they will not be bringing Bunheads back for a second season. The announcement comes after it was revealed that the network decided not to renew The Lying Game for a third season. The channel launched three new series this summer including The Fosters, Twisted, and a reality series called The Vineyard.
ROSEMARIE DEWITT SCORES LEAD IN ‘POLTERGEIST’ REMAKE: United States of Tara actress Rosemarie DeWitt has been cast as the lead in the upcoming remake of the classic horror film Poltergeist. Producers have yet to cast the male lead who was played by Craig T. Nelson in the original film from 1982.
Future King Debuted
Kate Middleton and Prince William stepped out of St. Mary’s hospital Tuesday afternoon (July 23rd) to show their new baby boy off to the world. The day-old prince was wrapped tightly in a blanket as his mother him close to her while she waved to onlookers with her husband. 
William told reporters, “We are still working on a name, so we will have that as soon as we can.” He also said he plans to remind his son of his tardiness when he gets a bit older and that he’s “thankful” that the baby got Kate’s good looks. The proud Papa later drove his family to their home.
- According to People.com, the new mom wore a bespoke cornflower blue crepe-de-chine dress by designer Jenny Packham. William matched his wife by wearing a blue button-down shirt.
- The Duchess had visitors in and out of the hospital all day including her parents, Michael and Carole Middleton. Kate’s hairdresser Amanda Cook-Tucker was also spotted entering the hospital — perhaps to prep her client for the big reveal.
