Coco Rocha says Dennis Basso is “such a character”.
The 24-year-old model always finds photoshoots with the US fashion designer the most fun.
Dennis is one of America’s premier couture fur designers and Coco described how she feels wearing his creations.
“Dennis Basso… I always feel beautiful in his creations. When we’re shooting, he’ll move around and pose, too,” she told UK magazine Marie Claire. “He’s such a character.”
The Canadian supermodel loves old-school glamour such as a traditional red lip.
She admits idolising screen legends from the past for their classic Hollywood style.
“Elizabeth Taylor was the world’s most glamorous woman in the days before celebrity stylists – now a 20-year-old borrows couture and is crowned an icon,” she shared.
“[I love] YSL Rouge Volupte. This dramatic red lipstick spreads like butter, but if you’re not careful you can end up looking like a crazy person.”
Her modern day muses are actress Zooey Deschanel and Grace Coddington, the former model and creative director of American Vogue magazine.
“Grace: A Memoir. I’ve just downloaded these memoirs and I wish I had more time to sit down and read them. It’s rare I have time to sit down and enjoy a good book,” Coco continued.
“I absolutely love [Zooey's TV show] New Girl. It’s getting a little creepy how much I talk about it! “
Coco was recently announced as the latest contributing editor of PC Magazine.
She’s spoken about her love of technology and gadgets before, but admits she’s also fond of the great outdoors.
“[I love] Wolgan Valley resort in Australia. It’s on a former sheep farm and has an epic view of the outback,” she finished.
