Oamul is an illustrator with a gorgeous, tactile style that I am hecka into. He’s doing a series of beautiful GIFs called The 24 Solar Terms that captures the feeling of summer in China. I think he’s succeeded, because I want to go to there. It looks so charming and whimsical and nostalgic. Summer in the far east seems like a prance through Zooey Deschanel’s closet. But in an endearing, not-annoying way.
