You can always trust Zooey Deschanel to bring the fun when it comes to nails on the red carpet – the catwalks might be declaring nail art dead but it certainly didn’t seem so on the red carpet last night at the Emmy‘s.
The New Girl actress continued her run of kooky cute nail art with a monochrome geometric print that on first look I thought were dominos, but they are not.
The black and white chequered masterpiece was created by manicurist Tom Bachik, who tweeted this great picture of it on twitter.
This isn’t the first time she’s impressed me with a black and white manicure – who can forget the Golden Globes tuxedo manicure sensation of 2012?
