Marty Ingels And Jake Johnson
Marty Ingels, of the Actor and Producer Marty Ingels connected with Shirley Jones, and who I met at The Night Of 100 Stars and have talked to over the past two years, has landed a hilarious bar room character guesting on one of the hottest FOX TV shows, The New Girl, the series created for film star Zooey Deschanel who portrays Jess.
Ingels portrays a bar room drunk interacting with series male lead star Jake Johnson who plays Nick in Tuesday night’s episode called “The Box”. Guest starring on this episode is super comic Jon Lovitz who portrays a bumbling Rabbi. Insiders at FOX are excited by the super veteran comedians cast on this episode that is expected to draw a huge audience.
Marty Ingels, discovered by Jerry Lewis in the 1960’s became one of the first funny guys to land his own network series, I’m Dickens He’s Fenster starring with John Astin. Over the years he has guest starred in hundreds of TV series, and character roles in off beat motion pictures including one that is in theaters now called A Strange Brand of Happy, co-starring for the first time with his wife, Oscar winning and Emmy nominated actress Shirley Jones.
