New Girl is going to party like it’s 1999 when special guest star Prince stops by for the Fox comedy’s big post-Super Bowl episode on Feb. 2.
Jess (Zooey Deschanel) bonds with the music legend after they meet at a party. “She’s goofy and out there, and he’s this wise, quiet sort of oracle,” says creator Liz Meriwether.
But don’t expect boyfriend Nick (Jake Johnson) to be jealous. “Nick’s a huge Prince fan,” Meriwether says. “He’s immediately like, ‘It’s an honor to give you my girlfriend.’”
