(NEW YORK) — Following its coverage of the Super Bowl on Sunday, Fox will air special episodes of its comedies New Girl and Brooklyn Nine-Nine.
Prince guest stars as himself in the New Girl episode. He throws a mansion party to which Zooey Deschanel’s Jess is invited.
Deschanel enjoyed spending time on the New Girl set with the music legend. She says, “Prince was such a nice guy and so professional and really, really fun to work with.”
Brooklyn Nine-Nine, the freshman comedy starring Andy Samberg, follows New Girl. In the latest episode of the Golden Globe-winning series, Samberg’s Jake investigates a string of hotel robberies. Former NFL quarterback Joe Theismann and ex-Saturday Night Live cast member Fred Armisen make appearances.
