Australian actor Beejan Land has landed a role in upcoming comedy ROCK THE KASBAH. The project centers on a burnt out music producer who travels to Afghanistan and discovers a young girl with an incredible voice who he enrolls in the local talent show “The Afghan Star.” Land will play Daoud Sididi, the host of the talent show alongside a star-studded cast that includes Bill Murray, Bruce Willis, Zooey Deschanel and Kate Hudson.
Land recently made his American TV debut on “NCIS: Los Angeles” and starred in the Australian indie drama “The Last Goodbye.” Next up for Land is a role in the crime/thriller “Damn Foreigners.”
