I don't like the Big Bang Theory. No, not the actual theory, but the goddamn horrible TV show.
It's really annoying when fans of this show associate physics with this half-assed comedy. Yes, I'm really into physics, and have a sizable knowledge on the subject. No, I'm not totally just like Mr. Forced Aspergers Sheldon Copper.
Should I even call it a comedy? It's more like watching amateur actors stomp all over your culture while a laugh track on par with the sadness of a crying wolf puppy gets shoved down your throat. I was watching a scene of it on Youtube before actually watching the show, you know to see what all the fuss is about. "zOMG I'm so awkward and have a napkin that allegedly has traces of Leonard Nimoys spit" Followed by 5 solid minutes of the atrocious laugh track was what I got.
I'm really not into how all of a sudden people are jumping on the "nerd" bandwagon, and pretending to be awkward or dorky (I'm looking at you Zooey Deschanel), or self diagnosing themselves with syndromes and diseases like autism, OCD, and ADHD. I'm tired of dumb kids pretending to luuurrve comics and games, when their faces go blank when the phrase "Han Shot First" is uttered, or claim to love Final Fantasy when they think Cloud is the main character of the whole series, or think Final Fantasy 13 is the pinnacle of it all, and get all their "totally nerdtastic" science knowledge from charlieissocoolike videos, while they have a GPA lower than 2.5. Or claiming they are PC gaming addicts when their PC "gaming" is playing Farmville on their "totally virus proof" Macs. Or making immature jokes about how huge their hadron colliders are, even though they don't know, or give a single fuck about particle physics. In all honesty, I want to throw their fake nerd glasses and "Cool Story Bro" t-shirts into a raging fire. (On the subject of Cool Story Bro being the hit new saying, I'd bet my level 100 maxed stats Mewtwo and all three legendary birds, that more than half the kids wearing this "hip" merchandise would never sleep again if they actually saw 4chan).

Well…I've calmed down now. I guess I'll end my rant here. Fake Nerds, please, please, please, please! Leave my hobbies, my culture-alone.
