Headed to the movies this weekend? Here are four new films opening in theatres today. We've got gritty Navy SEALs, crazed serial killers, heartwarming acts of charity, and naked hippies teaching uptight New Yorkers how to enjoy life.
Act of Valor
A war action film starring active duty Navy SEALs, Act of Valor is about a Navy SEAL squad's mission to rescue a CIA officer kidnapped by terrorists. Critics have praised the film for its heart-pounding action, but were less than impressed by the acting and plot.
Gone
Amanda Seyfriend and Jennifer Carpenter star in this action film about a kidnapping survivor (Seyfried) who must rescue her sister from the same man who abducted her a year before.
Tyler Perry's Good Deeds
Starring Tyler Perry, Thandie Newton, Brian White, Rebecca Romijn, and Gabrielle Union, Good Deeds is the tale of a wealthy businessman who questions his life after meeting a homeless, single mother. Perry also directed and produced Good Deeds.
Wanderlust
Paul Rudd and Jennifer Aniston star as a married couple who must give up their hip, fast-paced life in New York City and adjust to life in a hippie commune.
