Lamar Odom plans on missing scheduled Dallas Mavericks games to spend time with his "gravely ill" father Joe, reports RadarOnline.com.
Lamar missed Wednesday's Mavericks game against LA Lakers "to tend to a family matter," says coach Rick Carlisle. He says Lamar will "rejoin us after the [All-Star] break."
A source tells Radar, "Khloé and Lamar were really upset about the news about Joe. They're putting their schedules on hold right now to be there for him."
Lamar's father Joe battled a heroin addiction in the past. Joe told Radar, "I'm doing a lot better. But I'm depressed right now. I'm getting some rest."
Joe was featured in the first season of Khloé & Lamar. The show's second season airs Sundays at 10/9c on E!
