Its interesting that at the same time that Selena reveals her new tattoo she also reveals her first crush on another woman.
Her tattoo was said to be a heart tattoo that many females get however in an interview Selena explained that it is a Music Note showing her dedication to music and because she was named after a third rate Mexican popstar that was murdered… yea come on now selena was not a headline performer she was just a singer from Mexico that got a lot of news because she was cute and got murdered by a woman that worked for her.
Tattoos say a lot about the people that get them … many people get them now and this was not the norm just 15 years ago…
For many it is to show an affiliation with a group. It can be a gang or it can be a social path such as sexual orientation or rejection of religion. For others it harkens back to the original meaning of identification for those in the Military however this is very limited today.
The fact is 25% of people under 30 now have tattoos .. instead of holding true meaning more often tattoos are nothing more then decoration.. however it is a permanent decoration that still holds negative connotations for many.
Many point to the bible that says you should not pierce or tattoo your body because it is a temple. Others say that is is self abuse and indicates mental insecurity.
The choices are many but the result is always the same.
Bisexuality is also very prevalent today and females are taking it to a new level mixing friendships or admiration with sexual desires…. the main thought being … why just think about it .. why not act on it.
This is not always the wrong thing however sexual confusion is as permanent as a tattoo.. experimentation will last as long as a tattoo and even if you try to remove it from your life.. there will be visible scars.
Again its not wrong for many people but for most people its not reasonable to have a moment in time define you for the largest part of your life.

then you look back to the paris hiltons the lindsay lohans,, the Britney and Christina s …
And you ask is this normal?
Is this Disney?
and Why?
If it is just life it is one thing.. if it is bad influences in these young women's lives that is not reasonable…
Bieber got his love of Tattoos from his father and it seems Selena is getting it from bieber…
Miley's Brother has his whole body covered in Tattoos…
And the older women.. christina? she just told the world she was Gay.. then tried to back away from that..
And Lindsay… drunk and well you have seen it with your own eyes…
Again.. these are young women with everything to live for.. They have more money then they will ever need in their lives so there is no coercion that could dictate their lives .. not like a young woman with nothing that turns to adult entertainment because she has no other assets to put food in her stomach and a roof over her head.
No one ever said Christina or Lindsay or Selena or Miley had to be roll models..
On the other hand they are..
You have the tim tebos who are slammed for showing their faith..
And you have the Rihannas who are applauded for going back to the Chris Browns after such a public event of abuse that no child will forget.
What I am trying to say is .. Talent and Artistic quality does not mean that you have to live a negative lifestyle.. or even a lifestyle where you feel lonely and turn to drugs as you did a teddy bear when you were a child.
You don't need to give up on the Opposite Sex just because you got in some bad relationships and you think your friendships with the same sex should also include sex… You can have good relationships .. you just need to find a good person.
Anyway you make up your own mind.. but I am placing the influence for the Tattoo on Bieber and Bieber's Dad.. as for the Girl Crush.. who knows..
Don't make decisions you don't really believe in that will follow you for life..
it is not that people will reject you if you do have true feelings or wishes to tattoo yourself or any other thing.. but if you do it for frivolous reasons.. then you are a loser.
And really look at that guy that put the tattoo on her.. does he seem to have a higher vision for his life? That is the guy that Selena turned her life over to.. Not a rocket scientist or mother teresa.. just some guy covered in tattoos.. more then willing to cover Selena in Tattoos …
