So when the site's owners decided to sell the property, they called Raphael Realty. David and Mary Raphael are real estate agents who deal only in church buildings. It's a rare specialty. They could think of only two other real estate agencies in the country that do what they do, one in Texas and one in Northern California. As they gave a tour of the property here, which is listed for $1.9 million, the couple talked about their calling."We've been doing only religious buildings since 1979," said David Raphael, wearing a windbreaker on an unseasonably cold and rainy day. "We tried houses, and we thought, well, some of these people are telling us things that aren't the truth, so maybe we should try churches." The first church they sold was in Long Beach, to a Korean congregation that paid $250,000. "We became really good friends with the pastor," said Mary Raphael, who is tall, with long graying hair and fashionable ovoid glasses. The Raphaels met in a square-dancing class at Long Beach State University in 1971 and married the next year. They were both raised Presbyterian, Mary Raphael in Marysville, a small town near Sacramento, Calif., and David Raphael in Bellflower, in Southern California. He warns that such authentic, unique experiences are perhaps finite and need to be experienced while they still exist in their raw and rugged beauty. In remote villages throughout PNG, tribes maintain their distinctive heritage through art, sing sings, dancing and initiations. The Baining Fire Dancers near Rabaul, and the Asaro Mud Men and Huli Wigmen in the Highland regions wear traditional clothing and striking face and body painted decoration when welcoming visitors who want to learn more about their unique customs. But for just under $4,000, what might make Elvis fans bay like a hound dog in excitement are the special guests set to accompany the tour – Joe Moscheo and Terry Blackwood of the Elvis Imperials, and Bill Baize, all of whom recorded and toured with Presley as gospel backup singers in the 1960s and '70s. And of course, for many, the highlight of the trip will be a visit to the Elvis Inn at Neveh Ilan, the garish Israeli restaurant/ shrine to the King, complete with a larger-than-life statue in its parking lot. One reason Presley earned the title of "The King" was his ability to arouse primal and prurient rock-and-roll impulses with his gyrating hips and smoldering sensuality, then turn around and sing the chaste, faith-based gospel music of the Lord. The latter aspect is the hook for faith-based Elvis fans, according to Joe Amaral, the co-founder of Toronto/Nashville-based tourism company Israel Theme Tours. His company is organizing the Elvis tour along with Elvis Presley Enterprises (EPE), the official Nashville-based entity that The Elvis Presley Trust created to run his estate and manage Graceland, his legendary palatial home. "Elvis loved gospel music – he won three Grammy Awards for his spiritual recordings," Amaral told The Jerusalem Post Toronto. "Israel was someplace that Elvis always wanted to visit, as a Christian and a religious person – it was the land that gave birth to his faith. But he never got there."
The seasoned tour operator, who has led over a dozen tourist pilgrimages to Israel, explained that he began developing the idea of a celebrity theme tour to Israel after leading his last group to the country in January. The group included a friend from Nashville, Brian Mayes – a public relations veteran and publicist who has worked with EPE, and Amaral's co-founding partner in Israel Theme Tours.

For the fiscal year ending Jan. 28, Saks reported sales at stores open at least a year rose 9.5 percent. Net income was $74.8 million, or 45 cents per share. Sadove said he is feeling optimistic about the coming year. "We're not nearly as profitable as we'd like to see, but we're making real progress," he said. This year, Saks is nearly doubling its capital spending, with new investments in technology and individual stores, he said. Today's shopper wants a multi-dimensional experience, with the ability to switch with ease between shopping online and in the stores, so the company must be prepared to handle that. Culturally, there's a growing preoccupation with fashion that's helping high-end retailers like Saks, he added. From reality television shows to prominent coverage of what celebrities wear at the Oscars, brands and the people behind them are in the public eye. Saks is participating in a new NBC TV show, "Fashion Star," in which designers compete to catch the eye of buyers for major department stores. The winning designs on the show, which was filmed last summer, are available at the stores the day after it airs. Sadove said there were a lot of questions initially about why Saks would participate in the show. But he said it's been good for the company; one of the winning products on last week's show sold out on Saks' website the next day. "It's about attracting a whole other genre, getting our brand out there," he said. "We're about luxury, but we're also about accessibility: good, better and best." For Saks' Birmingham store, Sadove said he sees growth opportunities. "I think we have an opportunity to substantially grow our men's business," he said, citing the upcoming addition of Butler's. The salon, expected to open in June, will offer traditional barber services, along with manicures, pedicures, massages, waxing and other services. She chose to wear a short sleeved black leather top above the Manish Arora embroidered mini dress to give the oufit a more elegant feel since it was a press event. She wore the skirt version or the longer version of the embroidered dress. To match the outfit and the top, she chose black leaher ankle kill heel boots. She also accessorized the look with a silver bangle and a colorful embroidered bracelet. She went for minimal make up, foundation, thick eyeliner, mascara and a red-ish lustre lipstick. Hair wise, she sported her hair down. IU wore the dress for the Gaon Chart K-Pop Awards on February 22. Go Jun Hee, IU and Lee Hyori wore the same outfit for three different events and thus produced three different looks. Go Jun Hee carefully chose how to make the dress look elegant for a chic look shown at a press conference whereas IU chose to highlight the cute and adorable look of the dress, making the overall look girly focused. Lee Hyori showed off yet another style as opposed to IU who added a dress to the Manish Arora embroidered dress and Go Jun Hee who opted for a leather top, as she wore the dress as it was made, in other words, making the mini dress appear very short. Also, I don't think the black leather was a necessary addition to the dress/skirt. It's a dress made for the Spring/Summer collection, for me the addition of the top and black leaher ankle kill heel boots completely hid the full potential of the dress and look. (+) I love the accessories, make up and hair but can't help but imagine how good the dress would have looked on her if we had the chance to see all of it, not just the skirt part. The silver bracelet was a nice addition. IU (-) Not a fan of the nude heels. The nude beige stiletto high heels are fine and would really look great with the dress IF the color chosen wasn't nude. It just blends too much with the dress and her skin color. How about light pink stilettos high heels instead? (+) I absolutely love how she styled her hair, the cute bun and hairband as well as the light make up. I also love the fact that she didn't wear accessories, the natural and cute look really suits IU. Lee Hyori (-) The hair. I think the styling was too simple, especially for a photo shoot and this pictorial in particular. Her hair looked great in the other pictures of this pictorial. Something more original for the hair would have been better. (+) The shoes and the accessories. A pair of pastel pink wedge sandals were a good choice especially since the dress is from the Spring/Summer collection. The color matches the dress and spices up the overal look. What is better than sandals to scream summer? And the lip shaped necklace.
