ZOOEY DESCHANEL PRAISES LINDSAY: Zooey Deschanel, one of the best-reviewed Saturday Night Live hosts of the season, is sticking up for Lindsay Lohan — arguably the worst. Zooey said after Lindsay's episode, "It's so hard. And can I say something? I thought she did a really good job; everyone reads off cue cards. There were some people saying 'She read off cue cards!' Everyone — the cast members, the host — everyone reads off cue cards. That's how it's done, because they change the script right before, so you have to read off cue cards."
ELIZABETH BERKLEY IS PREGNANT: Elizabeth Berkley is pregnant with her first child. The former Saved By the Bell star confirmed that she and husband Greg Lauren will welcome a baby this summer. ASHLEY AND JP MOVING TO JERSEY: More reality stars are heading to New Jersey. Bachelorette Ashley Hebert and her show-found fiance JP Rosenbaum told Us Weekly that they're moving to the Garden State this summer. She explained, "We've been living in New York and I got into a pediatric residency in Philadelphia, so we decided to move halfway. He'll commute and I'll commute. It's a lesson in relationships." The two plan to look in the Princeton area for a home.
LINDA CARDELLINI HAS A LEAP BABY: Linda Cardellini and boyfriend Steve Rodriguez welcomed their first child, a daughter Lilah-Rose, on Wednesday, February 29. The 36-year-old, who stars on Return, said last year after announcing her pregnancy, "It's a wonderful, thrilling event. I think you can't help but be slightly terrified because somebody's whole life will be in your hands." The actress previously appeared on Freaks and Geeks, E.R. and in the Scooby-Doo films.
KRIS HUMPHRIES SISTER LANDS MODELING CONTRACT: Kris Humphries isn't the only celebrity in the family anymore. People magazine reported that his older sister Kaela recently signed a deal to be a plus-size model for Ford. The agency announced her signing in a release that read, "The division that brought you Crystal Renn, Ashley Graham, Candice Huffine and Marquita Pring among others is excited at the prospect of bringing this beautiful, engaging young woman to markets worldwide. A true size 16-18, Kaela will be in a league of her own."

'DESPERATE HOUSEWIVES' TRIAL GOES ON: Nicollette Sheridan's longtime attorney took the stand in her case against Desperate Housewives creator Marc Cherry on Tuesday to explain why the actress didn't call the police after Cherry allegedly hit her on set. The attorney, Adam Levin, said, "Nicollette was concerned about retribution from Mr. Cherry. She told me Mr. Cherry was a very vindictive man." Cherry has argued that he only tapped Sheridan, and that her complaint about the incident had no bearing on her character getting killed off the show.
'TERRA NOVA' CANCELLED: Fox has cancelled its prehistoric drama Terra Nova after one season. EW.com reported that the cancelation is somewhat surprising, since it averaged 10.1 million viewers and had a well-received season finale. Sources told the site that network executives just "weren't too fond" of the program.
Reports say that Halle Berry is preparing to pay her ex Gabriel Aubry hush money to keep him from writing a tell all book. According to RadarOnline.com, a source said that Halle is trying to get Gabriel to sign a non-disclosure agreement and it will cost her because Gabriel is sick of being portrayed as "an abusive father, a racist and a fool."
Gabriel is being urged by friends to write a tell all, and has reportedly been approached by publishers offering high six figures — but he doesn't want to hurt he and Halle's daughter Nahla.
A source said, "Gabe has finally woken up and is going for the money because he knows there is no way he can fight to keep his daughter without it. If he doesn't get the money he wants from Halle, he is going to go ahead a write a tell-all. Gabe has two separate high six figure offers on the table from NY publishers."
- The source continue, "Halle is terrified of this happening; it's her worst nightmare come true – and she's talking settlement money but locking Gabe into a non-disclosure deal. So one way or another he's going to get paid."
- In related news, Halle was advised not to ask a judge to allow her to move to France with her daughter Nahla — because there is little to no chance that her request will be granted. Halle's camp advised her that the moved would be viewed as not being in her daughter's best interest, but she proceeded anyway.
