This week has been lovely as Ireland was graced with what was possibly (but hopefully not) the only sunny few days of the year! In true Irish fashion, one day of sun was enough for everyone to pull out the shorts and string tops from the bottom of their wardrobes and head to the beach for ice-cream. By the middle of the week college was full of sunburnt faces but despite that, it's undeniable the upbeat atmosphere the nice weather brings to the place!
I've finished lectures this week, which I find so hard to believe. This year has gone so fast and I'm already a third of the way through my degree, it's crazy! I have two weeks off now and then four days of exams, so it's time for me to buckle down and start learning my economics and law. To be fair, it would have been a waste to spend the nice weather inside studying, right?
My iPod has had a few weather-appropriate songs stuck on repeat all week. As the video I've posted above will suggest, I love Jack Johnson and his chill songs these days. She & Him (Zooey Deschanel's band) are also being played constantly this week! I particularly love Why Do You Let Me Stay Here, In The Sun and Don't Look Back. I think Zooey's voice is lovely and love their old-fashioned vibe. Whenever I listen to them all I want to do is put on a floral dress and dance around!
