Image via stylebistro.comSometimes I need some serious nail inspiration. I am always adventurous with color --- I will wear any shade --- but there can be so much more to nails than just color. The point at which my consciousness was raised and I realized that my cuticles needed some reinvention came when I saw Zooey Deschanel's nails at the Emmys (pictured above). To me, this made her outfit --- decked out and glam in a sparkly green number, but with a playful tongue and cheek manicure that provided a nod to the black tie event. At the next wedding I attend, I plan on taking a page out of this book.
