In April, Christian Louboutin sued Yves Saint-Laurent fortrademark infringement, claiming that Saint-Laurents line of shoesinfringed Louboutins distinctive red soles. On August 10th, Judge Marrerodisposed of Louboutins motion for a preliminary injunction and, in doing so,set the stage for the cancellation of Louboutins red shoe mark.
