greenhouse cafe for a third visit
for lunch, peter and i went to caffe gazelle for pasta, but i forgot our friendship (the camera he and i share), so i took some on my phone, but i haven't uploaded them yet. after lunch on 2nd street, we went to seal beach so i could pick up an octopus tote bag for jennifer's birthday gift from hapa collective. then we tried these really weird-tasting smoothies from the smoothie/yogurt shack next to coldstone. hmm maybe never again..
we went back to school to pick john up and take peter to the greenhouse cafe for his first time. john ordered the mango apricot smoothie the second time i think, and peter tried the rosemary water smoothie for the first time. i had samples of both again and they were delish!
peter taught me how to play the beginning of click, click, click, click by bishop allen. i'm an amateur at guitar learning, but at least i got something out of it that late afternoon!
i never get tired of this song or video!
for dinner, we went next door to asha, a mediterranean cuisine. i ordered pita veggie falafel sandwiches and they ordered meaty plates, which wasn't too much of my thing. the three of us shared a really good veggie platter though. mm i love pita.
