Glamour= Alluring beauty of charm.
Well-being= Comprehensive whole person thriving and flourishing.
When I think about radiant flourishing I think about being at the place in your life where your health, strength, interests, passion and joy all come together. These goodies bounce around inside us and bubbling sparkling radiance emerges.
When I began the process of clearing out my mental closet I was trying to figure out who I really was and what my gifts, talents and life's purpose were. I didn't know that radiant health was going to be the reward.
One of the more eye opening and painful realizations was that there were people that I chose to have in my life that were supporting my dysfunction, instead of supporting my flourishing.
This was a very hard thing to face. I cared about some of these people deeply. But there came a point when I had to ask myself who I cared about more. So, I chose me.
Not an easy thing to do, because like a cluttery hoarders house, I saw the potential of each and every soul. I knew what these wonderful people could be capable of, but that their own complexes were holding them back.
Part of healing is realizing that it was not your responsibility to fix someone else.
It was my responsibility to focus on myself. On my own thriving a well-being.
The covenant of thrivant well-being is beautifully summed up in the phrase "You do you."
