Zooey Deschanel Wants to Make More Music

Zooey Deschanel films scenes for an upcoming episode of New Girl on Tuesday (March 6) in Los Angeles.

The night before, the 32-year-old actress and her co-stars attended The Paley Center for Media's PaleyFest, which honored their FOX comedy.

Asked how she plans to spend her free when this season wraps, Zooey told THR, "I know that I definitely need to rest."

"I really want to get back into the studio," she added. "I have a lot of stuff I want to record and a lot of songs I've written."
