Hullo everyone! So, last week i had an inspiration, and yesterday i sat down and made it happen! Theodore and i, are really adoring the New Girl with Zooey Deschanel. So the last week we saw the 21st episode and i saw one of her decoration that really caught my eye! I had made tissue pom pom for the Christmas, but they tend to loose their shape, and with what i saw from Jess's room i thought why not making them made by magazines?
Lets DO THIS!
STEP 1 - WHAT YOU ARE GOING TO NEED
Not much! All you are going to need is just a magazine and some thread!
STEP 2, 3, 4
Mainly what you need to do, is to reap of carefully a page from the magazine - chose one that you like the colors - and follow the steps from 2 to 4 to cut the paper into a square. Or you can just use scissor!
STEP 5
You are going to need 6 or 8 pieces of paper. 6 to make a normal pom pom, or 8 to make a fluffy one! You can use more if you want to!
STEPS 6 & 7
Stack all the papers together and zig zag them like you see in step 6. Then, fold it in the middle, and then tie them with a little, and don't forget to leave 5 inches or more.
STEPS 8, 9 & 10
Start pulling one piece of paper from left, and then from right. Do that until you have pulled all the pieces. Be careful though, because they can easily rip off! Once you have finished one side, go to the other, and you are done!
You can try making them with newspaper too!!
