I read this quote from Zooey Deschanel and loved it. I think because I often feel, especially since I've been living in New York City, that I have to hold back certain personality traits that are considered more "girlie" or sensitive or even too sweet or cutesy. But really, it is silly to try to control my reactions or alter the way I view the world (even if it is more sparkly and optimistic than the average New Yorker- La Vie En Rose). Because once I do that…i stop being me. And I like Tamisha quite a bit.
