Most will agree that brains and beauty can be quite the deadly combination with the right woman in place. Add a bit of elegance with a touch of class and you've got none other than Hannah Simone. After living in various areas throughout the globe including London, Canada and Saudi Arabia, the Indian/half German-Italian and half Greek goddess has become a household name with her role alongside Zooey Deschanel on the FOX comedy New Girl.
She began modeling in her early teens, and at 16 years old, attended the American Embassy school in New Delhi, India where she organized a benefit concert for women and children with AIDS. Simone later went on to receive a BA in International Relations and Political Science from the University of British Columbia, and in 2004, she obtained a second BA in Radio and Television Arts from Ryerson University.
"I found the biggest adjustment moving back to North America. I spent 10 years growing up in Eastern cultures and landing in a world of malls and fast food was a shock to my system. Thankfully though, Canada has provided me with the best education, lifelong friends and wonderful career opportunities."
While some may remember her as a VJ for MuchMusic Canada from May 2006 to November 2008, Hannah has also worked for the United Nations. "I got a job as a human rights and refugees officer, working on youth-based projects," she explains. "But I realized all the kids I was working with were far more into The Daily Show than the policy briefings. I figured, I've got to learn how to speak your language."

Hannah is fascinated with gaming, a big fan of old school games with her favorite game being
Ms. Pacman. She also loves a man who can score big (in Scrabble), and she recently had this to say when talking to
iVillage about her role on
New Girl:
"Cece is a smart, cynical, wild child who works as a model. Her and Jess [played by Zooey Deschanel] have been best friends forever and have been with each other through thick and thin… I think I am a reliable and steadfast friend like her. Cece and I are both straight shooters when it comes to advice on boys, clothes and life.
