Pushing Polish: Nautical Nails

Ahoy! As an avid Instagram user, naturally I follow my favorite celebrities. Zooey Deschanel being one of them, she posted a picture of her nails. They looks cuter on her fingers than mine, but I still wanted to try it out myself.
Left hand
Red: China Glaze Revolution
Blue: China Glaze First Mate
White: OPI Alpine Snow
Rare view of my right hand
Both hands! Shot like a ninja.

I am kind of self conscious about my right hand...I know the nail length is longer than my left hand...just like to say that it's on purpose. I also really hate my pointer finger because it's so problematic due to it's different shape. Don't even ask me how I managed to take a picture of both my hands on my own...

I love China Glaze Revolution! Not only is it a Beatles song, it is also a extremely flattering red. I will include a separate swatch on its own because it's a special one. I'm not too crazy about how these turned out though, they're not very cohesive and that bothered me. Still, it was fun to do!

Where to buy

  • China Glaze can be found at some random beauty supply stores, Ulta, and Sally's Beauty Supply for $2-$7.
  • OPI can be found in some random beauty supply stores, and Ulta for about $5-$8.

I get bored at work sometimes and Instagram keeps me entertained. I love my big red bow, which I got from American Apparel. Toodles!
