Zooey Deschanel in She & Him's new video.
She & Him's music video for "Don't Look Back" is great, and we swear it's not just because Zooey Deschanel looks adorable throughout, which, let's face it, is a big component of She & Him's appeal.
Sure, we've seen this quirky '60s look on her countless times, but it works for her and she updates it here with something that distracted us throughout the almost five-minute video: hot pink eyeliner. Somehow, she pulls off the look, with matching pink lipstick to boot, without looking like a Hot Topic-spawned train wreck.
Although the video has a vintage theme (the overall idea seems to be what people a long time ago believed the "future" might look like) the color scheme is very now — color blocking and '50s silhouettes were all over the Spring and Pre-Fall collections. Plus, you can't go wrong with a big choreographed dance routine at the end.
