Who’s that girl? It’s Megan!
Transformers star Megan Fox will appear in a multiple-episode arc on the upcoming fifth season of New Girl. The fantastic Ms. Fox will portray Reagan, a straight-shooting pharmaceutical sales rep who “shakes things up” when she rents out a room in the loft while Jess (Zooey Deschanel) is sequestered on jury duty.
Could we perhaps see a new round of True American starring Megan Fox? Let’s hope so!
“It’s insane to me that such a gorgeous person can be so funny, but I guess we just all have to accept it,” executive producer Liz Meriwether said in a statement. “I’ve been a fan of her comedic skills since This is 40, and I’m so excited to have her on the show. We had Megan in mind when we wrote this part. She’s the perfect person to come in and shake these guys up.”
Fox will help ease the burden of the absence of series star Zooey Deschanel who, after welcoming a baby girl last August, will be absent from a number of episodes while on maternity leave.
Deschanel pre-taped five episodes for the upcoming season last spring, so Fox will make her New Girl debut during episode six.
