Oooh, Zooey Deschanel. How I adore you. In last night's New Girl (episode 9 - "The 23rd") Jess was wearing my fave outfit of the series so far - and, as a result, she's introduced me to the fabulous US designer, Corey Lynn Calter...

Jess was wearing a gold metallic prom dress with a red skinny bow front belt and, wait for it, electric blue heels! I love that she loves blue shoes as much as I. Makes me want to buy more pairs.

She accessorised with a red cardi in the flat, then a 50s-style pink swing coat - looking just like she did in Almost Famous *sigh* (You know, last night I discovered that Brad Pitt was the first choice to play Russell Hammond...shocking. So glad it was Billy Crudup.)

Observe: electric blue mid-heels

The only way you could not love Paul is if you flat-shared with Nick, right?

So, the actual dress that Jess was wearing appears to be
this $200 beauty by the US designer Corey Lynn Calter. If you do nothing else this weekend, go onto her website and drool over her dresses.

Think I'll have to devote a blog post CLC soon (and find out where we can buy her designs in the UK) because I am frankly crazy for this Holly maxi dress, the black Tory lace dress and the Hannah scoop neck dress.

In the meantime, shall we just go out and copy Jess' Christmas party look, in spite of the fact that it is March? Yes, I think so too...
