So, every now and then I try to share and write about a book I'm currently reading. Lately I've been reading Diamond Gothic hence the title of today's post. You might all be wondering what Diamond Gothic is all about. Never heard of it? Who's the author? Whats it about? Well all will be answered in this post.
Diamond Gothic is about an 18 year old girl called Annabell Mason-Hayworth. She is a privileged child and is willing to show off her feminine side to any boy who would notice as she is finally becoming a woman. Who is the author??? Well Diamond Gothic has three authors,yes THREE. It was started by Bethany Joy Lenz who is an actress/singer/writer/producer,a mom, and she is well known as Haley James Scott on One Tree Hill. She decided to start writing one bored evening in Wilmington, North Carolina (where One Tree Hill was filmed) while she was filming One Tree Hill's Final season and she decided to not write it alone so she made it a rotating novel with help from two friends. Diamond Gothic has two other writers: Abigail Spencer and JC Coccoli . So, since its a rotating novel between three writers no one knows how the story will end as each chapter written depends on the previous chapter .It is an online novel!!
I have to say its pretty awesome and interesting. I love it. Every week or so a chapter is posted on HelloGiggles (Zooey Deschanel's website). Each chapter is three pages long. I will post a link to everything Diamond Gothic related and HelloGiggles.
HelloGiggles on the other hand is a very awesome website. Its wonderful, I'm kinda always on that website lately :) A lot of exciting stuff on there and *drum roll please* our Diamond Gothic writers are also contributors on HelloGiggles so they post stuff on there too.
