New Girl actress Zooey Deschanel plays jump rope while she is on set of her hit TV show, the star wants to try to stay fit as she works.
The starlet as admitted herself that doing this activity is a great way to staying active.
The actress has set up a Double Dutch club among cast and crew on the show and finds the game — in which two long jump ropes turning in opposite directions are jumped by one or more players jumping simultaneously — a great way to keep in shape.
“We started a Double Dutch club on the ‘New Girl’ set. It’s a great way to stay active no matter what your age,” she said.
Zooey previously revealed one of the main reasons she loves working on the FOX show is because her older sister Emily works on the same lot and brings her son Henry, who was born in September 2011, to work with her.
“We shoot on the same lot, so I’ll stop by her trailer,” she said.
“Right now [Henry] just gets excited when he sees anything that moves, so I’m really fun, because I move. He’s with my sister all the time so I get to go hang out with them.”
