Ok, ok, we’re clearly Canadian. But that evidently didn’t stop us from being entertained (or quite possibly confused) by the hilarious human board game, True American, as featured last season on New Girl . Drinking game meets Candy Land, the roommates partook in this game which eventually led to the kiss hear ’round the world between Jess (Zooey Deschanel) and Nick (Jake Johnson).
Season two was released on DVD earlier this week, and we can revisit that moment again and try and play a version of True American at home. (Outtakes from the episode even show that True American even has its own theme song!) The rules to the game are after the jump–trust us, you’ll need them!–as well as rules on how to win your very own copy of New Girl Season 2 on DVD.
