In the 10 years since Brian Wilson finally released Smile, the Beach Boys maestro has mostly stuck to passion projects like What I Really Want For Christmas, Brian Wilson Reimagines Gershwin, and In The Key Of Disney. The only thing that could pass for a traditional Wilson album was 2008′s California song cycle with Van Dyke Parks, That Lucky Old Sun. But according to the Studio Notes section of Rolling Stone’s 6/19 issue, it sounds like Wilson has another LP in the works featuring some noteworthy guests of a more modern vintage.
