Bangs or a fringe as we know it are the quickest and coolest way to make a change without doing something too drastic.

Zooey Deschanel is famous for her thick, blunt cut fringe while Nicole Richie rocks the side swept, thinner fringe.
A fringe can change your whole face so a trip to the hairdresser can mean a mini makeover and the bonus is that if you don't like the end result it's so simple to clip a fringe back or use an aliceband to keep it off your face.
Here are two ways to style bangs:
STRAIGHT ACROSS
Comb out wet fringe, focus heat from above with a blow-dryer fitted with nozzle and use a paddle brush to pull bangs to the right for five seconds, then to the left. Repeat going back and forth until bangs are completely dry.
SIDE SWEPT FRINGE
Blow dry to the opposite side you wear it, it will fall back into place as your hair won't change it's path direction overnight, what it will do is give that covering your eye look. It will show off your shorter pieces without it being straight across.
Top Tip:
Always remember to start styling when the hair is wet, not damp as once the hair starts drying, it's harder to style
Will you be rocking bangs this season?
