Quite possibly one of the worst films I have ever seen.
Plot is basically Parents of a 30 something year old man hires a woman to date their son to get him to move out of their home. However she falls in love with him. He finds out what his parents have done, dumps her. They get back together.
Biggest load of crap I have ever seen.
The woman Paula (Sarah Jessica Parker) is predictable like the plot. When she screams it's the same as her previous character Carrie in Sex and the city. It sounds like a strangled dolphin.
The film is described as a Rom-com. The romance is nil and the laughs are; cheap, flat and predictable. Tripp (Matthew McConaughey) isn't even worth mentioning as I want to punch him after is totally unbelievable performance. The plot has vague similarities to the film Hitch…Its been done, do something new!
The only highlight of the film is Zooey Deschanel's performance as Kit.
Only watch it for Zooey, otherwise don't watch it.
